Editorial policy: how the eSIM Travel Plans desk works

Last updated 6 November 2026.

Who is the editorial desk?

The eSIM Travel Plans editorial desk is BroadNet Technologies' in-house team for this site. Articles carry the desk's byline rather than individual names. The desk is responsible for every page, including its accuracy and its corrections.

What we publish

Route-first guides to travel connectivity: itineraries by region, arrival and departure set-up, borders and ferries, family and group trips, and trip length. Every itinerary opens with a short, direct answer, then explains the reasoning under question-shaped headings, with tables, steps and a short set of reader questions.

Rules we follow

  • No invented facts or numbers. We do not publish prices, speeds, coverage percentages, customer counts, ratings, reviews or awards unless they come from a source we name. Worked examples are labelled as examples, never as offers.
  • No invented people. No made-up authors, travellers, testimonials or quotes. No AI-generated pictures of people or of products; our illustrations are diagrams and route sketches.
  • Careful claims. A data-only travel eSIM has no phone number of its own, and we say so where it matters. We describe official settings paths only when they match the manufacturer's own help pages.
  • No field tests unless stated. We do not claim to have measured networks or tested plans in a destination unless an article says exactly what was tested and when.
  • Fair to others. We compare approaches (roaming, local SIMs, travel eSIMs), not named competitors.

How commercial links work

BroadNet owns both this site and TripoSIM. Links to TripoSIM are marked rel="sponsored" and carry non-personal campaign tags (source, medium, campaign and page) so TripoSIM can see which page a visit came from. They contain no personal data. TripoSIM's checkout is the final word on plan countries, validity and price.

Dates and updates

Each article shows its publication date, and the structured data carries the same dates. When we make a substantive change, such as a new fact, a corrected step or a changed recommendation, we update the modified date.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake, tell us through the TripoSIM contact page and mention eSIM Travel Plans and the page address. We review reports, correct errors promptly, and update the page date when we do.
